Terms of Use
These terms apply to Owedaroo, operated by the Owedaroo operator (“Owedaroo”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
What Owedaroo does
Owedaroo is administrative payment-follow-up software. It helps you record amounts owed and prepare reminder drafts. It is not accounting, legal, credit-reporting, debt-collection or financial advice, and it does not guarantee that a customer will pay.
Your responsibilities
You must check amounts, due dates, contact details and reminder wording before sending anything. You are responsible for complying with privacy, spam, debt-collection, consumer and other applicable laws. Do not use Owedaroo to harass, threaten, deceive or contact someone about a disputed or incorrect amount. Payment-habit indicators use only your own records and are not external credit scores.
Accounts and security
Provide accurate account information, keep your login secure and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised access. You may not misuse the service, probe its security, interfere with other accounts, upload unlawful material or resell access without written permission.
Voice Add is optional and depends on speech-recognition support provided by your device or browser. Review all captured text before saving it.
Free and paid plans
The Free plan allows up to three active unpaid jobs. The Solo plan removes that limit while the subscription is active. The exact currency, monthly price and included features are shown on the pricing page and again in Stripe Checkout before payment.
Solo is a monthly subscription that renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel through Manage Billing in Owedaroo. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless Stripe states otherwise. Stripe processes subscription payments under its own terms.
Refunds and service problems
We do not promise a refund merely because you change your mind. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees. If Owedaroo has a serious problem or you cannot access a service you paid for, contact support so we can investigate and provide any remedy required by law.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Owedaroo reliable but may perform maintenance, fix faults, change features or suspend misuse. We will not knowingly charge for a period in which we cannot provide the paid service without offering the remedy required by law. We may update these terms prospectively by publishing a new dated version and giving reasonable notice of material changes.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Owedaroo is not responsible for a customer’s failure to pay, decisions you make using your records, or loss caused by inaccurate information you enter. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited only to the extent permitted by law.
